MNBI Charge Falana To ICC Over Involvement In #ENDSARS Protest

Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Femi Falana has been charged to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for his involvement in the #ENDSARS protest by an NGO Identified as “Make Nigeria Better Initiative” (MNBI).

This is coming after Femi Falana announced that he and some of his colleagues are putting facts together to ensure that the Chief of Army staff, Tukur Burutai is tried before the ICC.

The petition was submitted on the 4th of November, 2020 and filed by Joseph Nwaegbu Esq, Senior Advocate of Pathfind Attorneys on behalf of MNBI.

Femi Falana was accused of inciting the #END_SARS protest that led to the massive destruction of lives and properties in Nigeria.

The petition was filed to the office Madame Fatou Bensouda, the Prosecutor, International Criminal Court (ICC).

The organization furthermore, accused Falana of having differences with the Armed Forces of Nigeria and described his involvement in the protest as criminal.
